12 V systems sit below the threshold, so the LVD does not apply.

⛔ E-mark does not naturally extend to the mechanism of a running board or a tailgate strut. If a product carries integrated marker or step lighting, that lighting component can bring E-mark and R10 EMC into scope. Competitors in this category advertise blanket "E-mark approved" claims that we will not repeat without knowing exactly what was tested.
